- This nicely
arranged website provides general information about genetics
and chromosomes as well as specific information about the five
major syndromes of chromosome 18.

Chromosome 22 Central
- This Canadian-based
parent support group offers information, support and links relating
to a wide variety of chromosome 22 disorders. Interactive features
include message boards, chat room and mailing list.

DOC 16 (Disorders
of Chromosome 16) Foundation
- "The
Foundation provides information, education, and support to families
of children living with a chromosome 16 disorder and to expectant
parents confronting a similar diagnosis. The Foundation also
serves as a resource aiding family, friends, caregivers, and
medical professionals in their supportive roles." Its website
provides an overview of chromosome 16 disorders, FAQs, personal
stories, medical articles, and links.

SOFT (Support Organization for
Trisomy 18, 13 and Related Disorders)
- "S.O.F.T.
is a nonprofit volunteer organization offering support for parents
who have had a child with a chromesome disorder, and education
to familes and professionals interested in the care of these
children." Its website includes educational literature;
resources and support groups; related contacts; and information
about the organization.
