A database
of more than 27,000 assistive
devices and other products which are available from approximately
over 2,600 domestic and international manufacturers and distributors.
Detailed descriptions of each product including price and company
information are provided. Search by product keyword, company,
or brand name. ABLEDATA's Assistive Technology Library contains
references to a wide variety of books,
articles, papers and other paper and electronic publications
that deal with topics relating to assistive technology.
Produced
by the Center for International Rehabilitation Research Information
and Exchange, CIRRIE is a bibliographic database of published
materials dealing with rehabilitation research conducted outside
of the United States.
Looking
for a health organization? DIRLINE is the National Library of
Medicine's online database "containing location and descriptive
information about a wide variety of information resources including
organizations, research resources, projects, and databases concerned
with health and biomedicine."
Geared primarily
to health care providers, the Case Management Resource Guide
is an extensive print and electronic directory of over 120,000
health care services and products.
The National
Rehabilitation Information Center (NARIC) collects and disseminates
the results of federally funded research projects. It also collects
commercially published books, journal articles, and audiovisuals.
The site includes databases
for REHABDATA (summaries of 51,000 documents); the NIDRR Program
Directory (descriptions of research-in-progress by 300; NIDRR-funded
projects; the NIDRR Compendium (bibliographic citations and summaries
for 2,000 documents, fact sheets, videos, brochures, and other
products by NIDRR-funded projects); and the NARIC Knowledgebase
(a database of 700 "content-deep" Internet sites, 1200
organizations, and 400 newsletters and journals).

national, international and demonstrational model self-help support
groups." It is based on
information
provided by the American Self-Help Clearinghouse, which has long
published a print directory of support groups.
