PASS
(plans for achieving self-support) allow individuals who are
receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
to to set aside money and/or other things they own, without
reducing their SSI benefits, to start a business, go to school,
get job training, or related purposes.
Developed
by the Social Security Administration, Cornell University's Program
on Employment and Disability, and the New York State Office of
Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities,
this site provides a detailed explanation of the PASS program,
a tutorial on completing the application, including an online
