Septo-Optic
Dysplasia (S.O.D.), also known as de Morsier's Syndrome, is a
developmental disability characterized by visual impairment,
delayed growth, and learning disabilities.
The Foundation
is designed to stimulate research and to provide information
about S.O.D. to parents, professionals, and others. Its web site
includes basic information about the disorder as well as information
about the foundation.
The homepage
of the S.O.D. listserv, this site is geared primarily for parents
of children with septo-optic dysplasia and optic nerve hypolplasia
(O.N.H.). The site includes pictures, a glossary, listserv information,
bulletin board, family and informational links, and more. There
is also a section and support group for adults.
