A professional site which offers information about membership, standards, carrer, resources, workshops, etc.

NCTRC establishes standards for and grants certification and recertification of professionals in the field.

An excellent list from Project TRAIN (Therapeutic Recreation Access to the INternet).
 
[bullet] Project TRIPS (Therapeutic Recreation in Public Schools)
Geared for therapeutic recreation professionals (CTRSs), parents of children with disabilities, special educators and school administrators, this web site provides information about therapeutic recreation in public schools, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and its "related services" provisions, and the role of certified therapeutic recreation specialists.

This straightforward home page offers an extensive, well organized array of links for recreational therapists and students. Topics covered include definitions, work sites, education, job search, standards, related home pages, the rec therapy online archive, and much more. This was a starred DRM entry, but it needs to be updated.
