There are more than 100 different rheumatologic diseases classified as a type of arthritis. For information, check these sites.

Arthritis (about.com)
Formerly the Mining Company Guide to Arthritis, this well organized and nicely presented site features news, net links, features, bulletin boards, chat, and more. Beware of possible conflicts of interest with health- and drug-related advertisors and sponsors.
Arthritis Foundation
The Arthritis Foundation’s web site is filled with useful information about the arthritis and coping with it, including fact sheets, an online magazine, message boards, as well as information about the organization, its chapters, and its ubiquitous online store. We found the organization a bit awkward, and recommend using the site map.
The Arthritis Webpages of Drdoc On-line
Dr. David Gotlieb, a rheumatologist from South Africa, offers an extensive collection of information about the different forms of arthritis, general information, and links.
