Conductive Education (CE)

Conductive education is a system of teaching children with motor disorders such as cerebral palsy and spina bifida to improve motor skills and increase independence through a very intense program of education and exercises. Developed at the Petö Institute in Hungary over 40 years ago, conductive education is receiving growing acceptance internationally. Clinicians, educators and caregivers differ as to its efficacy.
