This is the homepage of a professional society whose members are elected based on their contributions in research, teaching, service and patient care. The site provides information about becoming a member and locating members by geographic area, as well as a members only section.
Glaucoma Foundation
The Foundation is a nonprofit organization that funds glaucoma research and provides outreach and educational services. Its website provides general information about glaucoma (including an online edition of its 20-page brochure for people with glaucoma and their families), news, events, and information about its programs and services.

This foundation’s website offers a wide variety of informational materials about glaucoma, including brochures and fact sheets about many different glaucoma-related issues. There is also a news section, a research area, a newsletter, and an interactive online service to help people with glaucoma connect with each other.

This site includes well-written information about glaucoma testing, treatments, medications, and research. There’s also a newsletter, online support chat room, links, and information about the hospital’s services.
International Glaucoma Association (IGA)
With members in 60 countries, this British-based organization supports research and provides informational services and materials about glaucoma. Its website includes a “Patients Centre” with well-organized questions and answers and fact sheets about many glaucoma-related concerns.
