Deborah Gill’s animated children will delight any website (as long as they’re not for use in commercial websites, clip art collections, and other specified purposes). There are about a dozen colorful boys and girls using crutches, wheelchairs and walkers.

CDC Diabetes Art Gallery
This page from the Center for Disease Control includes extensive collection of still images, image sets, and multimedia files related to public health, and a special collection of clip art that was developed for the CDC publication “Take Charge of Your Diabetes.”
Disabilities Clip Art [added 4/4/02]
Geared for libraries but useful for others, these fourteen drawings of people with disabilities reading or using the library can be downloaded and used at no charge by nonprofit organizations.
Disability Access Symbols
Produced by the Graphic Artists Guild Foundation, this is a classy collection of 12 symbols that can be downloaded as a ZIP file in EPS format and used to promote and publicize accessibility of places, programs and other activities for people with various disabilities.
Disability Graphics
P.J. Laureau has the most extensive collection of disability graphics on the web, including separate pages for wheeling, fingerspelling, kids, vision, etc. However, the quality varies, and not all of the pix are available for use. Some are advertising or promotional icons.

Jim Lubin’s page offers the classic wheelchair access symbol in dozens of different renditions, as well as a few others.
