ABA Commission on Mental and Physical Disability Law
A section of the American Bar Association, the Commission’s web site is geared for lawyers who practice disability law. It should also be of interest to organizations that are interested in the Commission’s disability law publications and services, which include fee-based legal research. There are also good news summaries on the front page.
A Guide to Disability Rights Laws
From the U.S. Department of Justice, this page provides an overview of federal civil rights laws that ensure equal opportunity for people with disabilities. Laws covered include the Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Housing Act, Air Carrier Access Act, Civil Rights of Institutionalized Persons Act, Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Rehabilitation Act, and Architectural Barriers Act.

This section of the Cornell Law School’s “Legal Information Institute” has all the major federal laws relating to disabilities — and numerous minor ones as well — from the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Fair Housing Act to the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, in searchable, full text format.
