Lyme Disease

First recognized in the U.S. in 1975 after a mysterious outbreak of arthritis near Lyme, Connecticut, Lyme disease is a bacterial infection that is spread by certain tick bites and can cause a wide range of symptoms.

This personal home page claims to have “over 6,500 categorized links on Lyme disease.” We didn’t count them, but there are an awful lot. The entries are not annotated, but they are well-organized. There is no information about the author, Art Doherty, whom we must assume is not a professional in the field.
